On the cusp of the centenary of the Permanent Court of International Justice’s Chorzów Factory judgment – famously known for the “full reparations” principle – this Interest Group aims at providing a platform for discourses among scholars exploring various facets of Reparations (Restitution, Compensation and Satisfaction), as envisaged by the International Law Commission’s Draft Articles on State Responsibility.

It further encourages exploration of Reparations from historical, colonial, socio-political, socio-economic and human rights’ perspectives (including critical approaches) and through the lenses of the various specialised branches of public international law.
